Identity is everything. Identity means knowing who I am. And from identity comes belonging and purpose – knowing why I do the things I do.

One of the most wonderful things about being a Christian is in carrying a certain sense of identity, belonging and purpose. This is the joy of having a secure identity in Christ.

Does it really matter how I treat other people?

The scriptures show that a mature Christian is faithful in relationships. They honour marriage and are fully attentive to their family responsibilities. They value friendship and can be relied on as faithful and loving neighbours. They honour and care for the poor and vulnerable. They cultivate relational-awareness and strive to bring peace where there is tension and conflict.
